We had contacted Sally and
Charles back in the spring of 2005 looking for a Pattern A female puppy, but
had a specific request. The puppy's sire had to be Kajin. Sally said she was going to be breeding two of her girls to Kajin.
Unfortunately/Fortunately, one of the breedings only produced a male. The
second breeding produced a male and female. I asked Sally to keep an eye
on the little
female.
She kept me updated with photos and her thoughts on the little girl. Well,
I made the decision sight-unseen... My husband and I flew down to Sally
and Charles' place... I saw 4 puppies in an outside x-pen... I told my
husband "That's my little girl!" He thought I was nuts... "How do you
know? They all look the same!" I immediately knew because I saw a
mischievous twinkle in a pair of nearly black eyes... and sure enough, Charles
came out and asked me which one was mine... and I was right. Aiyana is a
little spitfire... She can be naughty and nice at the same time.
