Dog Biscuits from Marybeth's Kitchen

This recipe is from one of the owner's of a 2005 Wachusett puppy.  Kajika, Shemya, Ayoka, Sequoyah, and Tecumseh LOVE these cookies!

3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1 c. Rye Flour
1 c. Corn Meal
2 c. Cracked Wheat
1/2 c. Nonfat Dry Milk
1 package dry yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
1 pint chicken broth/stock**
1 egg beaten with 1 tbs. milk

In large bowl combine dry ingredients.  Add dissolved yeast, chicken stock and other liquids.  Mix together, knead for 3 minutes.  Roll in 1/4 inch sheets and cut with cookie cutter.  Put onto baking sheet.  Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.  Turn off heat and leave overnight.

** Pacific Organic Free Range Chicken Broth available at Whole Foods.  1/2 the container was used and there are 4 servings in the box.
